Second Opinion — Specialist Case Review

The Case Room.

A specialist review of a complex or stalled musculoskeletal case. Your records are assembled, your history is taken properly, a specialist reviews everything, and you receive a signed report you can act on — and take to your own clinicians.

What a Specialist Case Review is

Not a quick opinion over a scan. A structured, defensible review: the right records in one place, a history taken the way a specialist would take it, deterministic screening for anything urgent, and a considered written report. It is the second opinion you would want a member of your own family to have.

EFPT does not prescribe or source medication. The Case Room is the structured assessment, interpretation and rehabilitation layer alongside your existing clinical team.

Who it is for

  • A case that has stalled despite treatment, and you want to know why.
  • Conflicting opinions, and you need a clear read of the whole picture.
  • A complex presentation where imaging and history need reconciling.
  • A decision ahead — surgery, load, return to sport — you want tested.

Three tiers

Choose the depth of review.

Every tier ends in a signed report. They differ in how far the review reaches — imaging interpretation, plan audit, and how much of the co-ordination we carry for you.

Questions

Is this a diagnosis?

The Case Room provides a specialist review and a written opinion to inform decisions with your own clinicians. It is not a medical device and does not replace your treating team.

Do you prescribe or source medication?

No. EFPT never prescribes, endorses or sources any medication or compound. The offer is the structured assessment, interpretation and rehabilitation layer.

What do I need to provide?

Whatever records you have — imaging reports, clinician letters, rehab notes. You upload them securely once your case is open, and we tell you what is still needed.

How is my data handled?

UK GDPR special-category data, stored in the EU. Nothing clinical is recorded for you without your explicit, versioned consent, and every access is audit-logged.

Not sure the Case Room is the right step?

Start with the Front Door assessment. It takes a few minutes and points you to the right level of support — including a Specialist Case Review if that is what your situation calls for.
